To disassemble laptop Lenovo Ideapad 510-15IKB turns off the laptop and follows the steps below:
Warning: Electrostatic discharge (ESD) can permanently damage your laptop. Ware an ESD wrist strap when you work with the internal components. If it’s not available, get rid of the static by touching grounded metal objects (grounded appliance) once in a while.
1- Remove Hard disk drive
- Remove the screws 1.
- Remove the HDD cover in the direction shown by arrow 2.
Lift the hard disk drive slightly in the direction shown by arrow 3. Detach the HDD connector and then remove the hard disk drive from the slot in the direction shown by arrow 4.
2 – Remove Optical disc drive
Remove the screw 1. Pull the optical drive out in the direction shown by arrow 2.
3 – Remove Keyboard bezel
Disconnect the touchpad cable connector and the keyboard connector in the directions shown by arrows 1 and 2.
Remove the screws 3 and 4.
Separate the keyboard bezel and upper case in the directions shown by arrows 5 and 6.
Remove the keyboard bezel in the direction shown by arrow 7.
4 – Remove Battery pack
Remove the screws 1. Then remove the battery pack in the direction shown by arrow 2.
