Battery has no charge left + AC adapter failed; you press the power button on laptop Acer Aspire E1-571 nothing happens, laptop won’t turns on and there is no display, the battery has no charge left, the motherboard doesn’t receive any power, laptop cannot turn on. You plug in the AC adapter but that doesn’t help, your laptop Acer Aspire E1-571 still won’t power on, there is a chance you have failed AC adapter. In this case try with another charger or check AC adapter with a Multimeter. If it’s dead, replaced with a new one.

Power circuit in wrong state or Over volt protection trips; you press the power button but nothing happens, laptop Acer Aspire E1-571 won’t turns on and there is no display just a black screen, your laptop has static electric charge made power circuit in wrong state. Unplug AC adapter, take out the battery and hold down power button for 30 seconds, the static charge will dissipate. Plug in the AC Adapter and turn on your laptop Acer Aspire E1-571. This should restore the system to normal operating mode.

BIOS failed; Laptop Acer Aspire E1-571 won’t turn on at all, if the voltage 19V, 3.3V, 5V OK  and electronics components on the motherboard are good, there is chance you have failed BIOS. There is a signal test confirmation on EC/SIO pin name RSMRST# . This pin must available 3.3V(tolerance 10%) than Bios Confirmed OK. If the test failed reprogram or replace the BIOS chip.

Laptop Power System has problem: Laptop Acer Aspire E1-571 won’t turn on at all, probably some electronics components or chipset on the motherboard failed;  Disassemble the laptop and take out the motherboard. Ceck No burnt marks visible on the mainboard. Check chepset temperature (CPU,  GPU, Power-Supply IC …). Check power jack. Check motherboard receives 19V. with a Multimeter measure voltages on coils, check for any components shorted to ground.  checked 3.3v/5v is up and running?

If you  have 3VALW And 5VALW at coil. 3VALW should go to sio and from there you should get 3v at power button. Check SIO for corrosion, shorting or any componenets which looks suspect. Check 3 & 5v SUS voltage.

Will need an electronic boardview or Schematic Diagram for Laptop Acer Aspire E1-571. The failed electronic component has to be replaced.

Good day to everyone. I hope you guys can help me regarding this acer laptop. This just came in yesterday, the owner said it has no power and no blinking lights. I’ve tested the power adapter and it is perfectly working. I did disassembled it and found horrible images of a repair done by someone who is not careful.

To fix the problem, I tried to look for a schematic diagram of its motherboard over the net but I’m very unlucky and cannot seem to find one. I figured that someone here might have copy or something that could help me fix it.

Here’s the exact model of the laptop: Acer Aspire E1-571-32324G32MNKS and also this is printed on the motherboard itself: Q5WVH LA-7912P Rev 1.0 2012-03-22. Hope to hear from you guys. Thanks very much in advance!

I think somewhere here could be the fault:

    top

    bottom

After I few cleaning and resoldering. I manage to power up the laptop. I can now boot to windows. I’ve been testing this unit for almost 5 hours now and nothing seems to be wrong. There are 2 things that I noticed during the test period, the battery indicator on the laptop keeps blinking amber light continuously and on the system tray icon, power says 34% plugged in but not charging. I think the charging circuitry still has some fault on it. Tomorrow I’ll be disassembling the laptop again to review the components. I’ll post whatever I may find. Thanks again!

Do you get 19v at P2? Is ACOK pin high?

.82V indicates the state is not charging. This could mean the one of the resistors has changed value.

After days of exhaustion, I’ve managed to solve the problem. The battery is now charging .

I cannot point to what component really is at fault because I have replaced 3 components, (PQ11) and two resistors on Pin #10 of PU4 . I also reflowed IC PU4. So I guess 1 of those might have fix it.
